Hello, my name is Chris. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing counseling, clinical support, and therapeutic interventions for children, adults, couples, and families.
I have helped clients work through anxiety, stress, depression, relationship conflict, addiction-related concerns, parenting challenges, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, life transitions, and the process of rebuilding after difficult seasons. My goal is to meet you where you are while helping you develop a clearer, healthier way to understand yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.
In our first session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and goals so I can better understand the full picture. The first session is supportive but structured, and my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and clear about the next steps in our work together.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is that I see therapy as more than just a place to talk. I believe every person deserves a “mental headquarters” — a place to slow things down, map out how they think, understand their patterns, and begin to alter the course through which they move through life. I pride myself on partnering with clients as they develop new ways to see, respond to, and interact with reality.
It is very important to me to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My therapy style has been described as warm, encouraging, compassionate, practical, and goal-oriented. My approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, grounding techniques, and practical skill-building to help clients gain insight, manage emotions, improve relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I provide individual therapy, couples counseling, and mental health support for adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, divorce, breakups, life transitions, stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, anger, grief, and low self-esteem.
My approach is practical, supportive, and goal-oriented. Therapy with me focuses on helping you stabilize, understand your patterns, improve relationships, build coping skills, and move forward with clarity and direction.
